This ice maker was sold as compatible with LTCS20020S. It does not fit. The top piece that enters the freezer is completely different. We contacted LG and they sent an adapter except it was not the adapter for this appliance.

This does fit the ltcs20020w but needs some slight maneuvers to get it installed. I couldnt find this anywhere so hopefully this helps someone else.
After googling for many hours and seeing how everyone is being told to contact LG social media seriously? for a fix I decided to go ahead and attempt the install on my own. The YouTube video in another comment https://youtu.be/D4nAv7McEGs?si=bg5rFYvnXIyFQGTt got me some decent info but not for the water tube install on the upper backside of the freezer. On the video it is flush mounted on the W it is a recessed mount that the pictures in the reviews show not fitting I saw the same pictures. BUT if you take this morning bracket that came with the fill tube apart removing the black piece and water line from the white piece and installing the white piece first in the recess yes the screw holes line up the black piece fits into this with the fill tube. Its completely stupid that they made it this way but it does work. Pic attached.

I just ordered an LG top freezer refrigerator Model LTCS20020B from Home Depot. However they were out of the ice maker kit LK65C for now. I was going to order the kit from you but after reading the troublesome reviews I am thinking about cancelling my refrigerator and buying another brand. Do you have a part that you can send with the ice maker that will actually allow it to be installed?

Purchased an LG LTCS10020W fridge at Lowes they sold us the LK65L ice maker to go with it. After 2 very frustration hours trying to install we finally came to the conclusion that it was not compatible. The part that really aggravates me is after reading these reviews these toads will not correct the issue and keep selling this product.

Bought refrigerator and ice maker at Lowes. They made two attempts to install ice maker different units. Both wont fit. Did dealer to LG rep they had engineer call the Lowes appliance rep. Their advice was read the instructions. Instructions in ice maker box different than L G website manual download. Neither are helpful. Im going to return the refrigerator for another brand. Cant live in Florida without ice.

LG knows that their ice maker LK65C that is recommended for the refrigerator LTCS20020S has a design flaw with the fill tube mounting to the back of the freezer. Instead of correcting it they make you contact them on social media for a fix. Poor customer service

Not compatible. Customer service on the phone useless. I had to open a twitter account to try to get help. They sent me a part that did not solve my problem. What do I do now? Return the fridge. Never LG again .

Graphic photos Warning....
What was supposed to take about 30 minutes ended up taking over two hours and counting. I purchased a new refrigerator a couple of days ago LG model LTCS20020S. Then I purchased the what was supposed to be the compatible icemaker kit model LK65C.
First the water valve part of the kit has a metal bracket already attached. The mounting holes were slightly off. I made it fit so I thought. But the metal mounting o
Refrigerator plate that you had to remove first to gain access did not fit flush. As I attempted to align the plate my finger got cut on the razor sharp back of the plate. Sliced my finger and blood all over the place. Looked like a crime scene. As I cleaned up and bandaged up my finger I saw this lose metal bracket in the shipping mint no note nothing in the instructions about it. But upon inspection I had to remove the bracket that came attached to water valve and replace it with this bracket. There were no instructions or warning sheet to do this or I could have saved myself alot of time and been injury free. The bracket aligned.
I thought everything else would go smoothly. Nope. The water fill tube bracket did not line up with the holes like many others noticed.
Now I called costumer service. I texted the bloody photos and explained the 2 issues I was having. I was told that the water fill tube needs an adapter bracket that doesnt come with the icemaker as the part was on back order and that it would take 7-10 days to get. I asked for expedited shipping considering all I have been going thru in addition to spoiled foods since the refrigerator was now unplugged for over two hours. No expedited shipping. I asked for a supervisor. That took awhile and by the time I spoke with her she had no clue as to what was going on even though the rep said hed tell her everything which he didnt. I had to go thru the whole thing again but their was a language barrier and that was that. Im contacting corporate.
So Please be careful and take care regarding this install. Call to receive the water fill tube bracket first and Change the metal bracket on the water valve and BE CAREFUL not to cut yourself and bleed all over the place.
This whole thing has been a nightmare

The optional ice maker LK65c is not compatible with the refrigerator model LTCS20020. LG confirmed that this is the proper ice maker. LG SUPPORT has not been helpful. They did not offer any advice or support. I will be returning the refrigerator.

Hey I cannot get support live chat or encompass who live chat referred me to call to make sure I get sent the extra parts that Ill need to make this icemaker compatible with 20020W. I dont want to order the icemakers multiples as they are in our apartments we own until Im certain all the correct parts will come with them. No X or Insta so give me a way other than that please

This ice maker is not compatible with the refrigerator model LTCS20020. I have been working with LG for 6 weeks to try to get this fixed with no luck. As far as I can tell LG does not have a fix. Even after sending pictures on two separate occasions the LG customer services reps cant seem to understand the problem.

The product is NOT compatible with Fridge LTCS20020W. The water tube mounting bracket does not fit into the recessed area where it is supposed to be attached to the fridge.

Works very well love the Normal ice cube shape and the HUGE ice bucket
The install went without issue. Note when it says connect the wiring harness they mean the harness on the solenoid valve to a plug in the fridge. It may look like it doesnt fit but it fits nicely.
