I love our French door refrigerator - so easy to use very easy to clean. Shelves are adjustable. drawers are large and the freezer section is huge I heard a noise in the freezer called LG the tech walked me through how to run a diagnostic test everything was fine - the ice dispenser switch had been switched to on by mistake we do not have it connected to water. Easy fix to correct the problem. But the bonus of getting a quick diagnosis was fabulous - great support

Fridge died in less than 5 yrs

Compressor failed 5 years after purchase. Luckily I had purchased a 5-year extended warranty it expired 2 days after the refrigerator died. LG doesnt have a repair service in Milwaukee so it was 2 weeks without a fridge before repairman came. Dont buy LG fridge Or be sure to buy 5yr warranty.

I bought this refrigerator on August 2 2023. Since then Ive been without an ice-maker for almost 6 months. In January the ice maker froze. A month later a new ice maker motor was installed. It worked until July 31st and now August 31st I still do not have an ice maker.

Well the fridge broke down last month lasted 6 years so I guess that is good. It was a decent did come with some issues during those years of service it stopped freezing sometimes and had to unplug then plug it back to fix the problem. This model was not that big. It was pretty efficient I will say. You can take all I have said to choose your next fridge.

My Compressor Passed Away Prematurely

Compressor died at 6 y.o. TY for covering part however were still out about $750 bux for the indie handyman visit LG labor dry ice regular ice and of course a bunch of dead food. So even though its a super sweet fridge and of a hard-to-find size for this style I guess my emotions are best described as mixed. If this fix gives it another few years of life well call it good.

I wish that I could give a 0 Our refrigerator stopped cooling 7 weeks ago. Caused by the defective condenser that LG ihas been using and is well aware that is defective. LG has stalled every effort in providing a solution An there is no LG service repair in our area that LG is also well aware of. Costco a large vendor of LG productshas and where I purchased my unit has reached out to LG on our behalf.. An LG has even dragged their feet with them. I have now considered joining a class action suit against LG with a law firm that is representing consumers in California who have experienced the same problem. A problem that LG lost a suit over the same issue in 2017 in courts Wisconsin. Dont believe what I am saying look up LG customer request of service number CNN240718662296 that was given me by LG. So would I recommend LG. No not at all based on theit customer service response to problem. Their continued use of a compressor design that they know is faulty and continues to leaving customers hanging. An to answer your question at the end of this review. I did notreceive this product for free or at a discounted price. I paid the price tgat was listed at time of purchase at Costco.

I am so dissatisfied with this Company My entire kitchen appliances are LG with this experience I will never buy or refer ur product to any one I have a refrigerator for less than two years somehow the compressor went and it is now three weeks that I still havent had a refrigerator that work This is really Not how a so called reputable company should service and treat their customers

Bought on July 3 2023 and right after the warranty expired on July 10 2024 got an error code of FF E and the fridge stopped cooling. Its been 5 weeks and still not working despite having some parts changed out. Very disappointing

Dont do it Looks arent everything. Especially when youd like an ice cube during a heat wave. And when youre considering cost you might want to figure in another $500 to replace the warrantied compressor.

Bad product and worse warranty service.

Fridge stopped working after just 3.5 years of use. We bought a warranty since we expected something to go wrong yet its been three weeks and LG still hasnt fixed it. I dont know why we bothered paying $100+ for a warranty when we just should have put the money towards a new fridge instead. Trying to feed a family of five out of a cooler while constantly switching out ice packs in the middle of summer hasnt exactly been fun. Customer service is very robotic as they seem to just be reading off scripts and dont really care that their product is awful. Well never buy LG again.

I was disappointed in LG on this Refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator new for our apartment. Several times it stopped cooling over the 5 years we had it and we spent time with LG tech support to get it back cooling again. However the last time it stopped cooling I talked with LG multiple times in the past 2 weeks but we just couldnt get it going. We decided to throw in the towel and get another refrigerator. I was disappointed in the performance and expected a better product from LG.

Short Life

It lasted for Eight Years and I had to replace it. Sad day my food spoiled and I was in panic mode. The box looked okay Stainless steel but it wouldnt chill or freeze.

Great when it works but LG service was poor

Happy with our product intil it quit working. When our 3 1/2 year old refrigerator stopped coolong we called LG customer service to get help with repairs because it might be something under warranty. They dropped our first request because they couldnt find a service person but didnt tell us. A week later we were back on their list but still no service person could be located. Two weeks after breakdown we started calling service companies ourselves. Two were ready to do the work. We hired a company and within a week our warrantied compressor was replaced. We think 3 weeks is too long to have no refrigerator and we dont know if LG would have EVER provided service for repair.

I LOVE THIS LG REFRIGERATOR The older fridge I had worked fine but we decided to upgrade for the electrical savings. So glad we did Most new refrigerators have an interior design that is inefficient. This LG Refrigerator has an outstanding interior design Plus I live in an older mobile home that has a permanent area just for a refrigerator that is smaller than the space that new refrigerators occupy. This LG Refrigerator size is perfect for the smaller area and the interior space is actually larger So happy

The basic functions work well. Its well lit makes good ice. The doors hold far too much stuff and do not close quietly. The ice maker is very noisy the water the ice drop None of the drawers come out far enough.

The refrigerator has been broken down for 7 weeks the locater team cannot find anyone to service the item and Jhas authorized a refund pending a copy of the original receipt we moved and have items missing from the move. I am unable to locate the original receipt but submitted an email from Costco with an attachment of the receipt. Told the issue was sent to the escalation team with on response to date. Why?

This is a beautiful refrigerator But I was able to use this fridge for five days. Within those days the compressor went bad. I was told this model has compressor issues. DONT BUY FROM LG. Life is not Good with them. My food spoiled and LG left us without a fridge for almost two weeks. My children and I went forced to eat out of a cooler like that is acceptable.

Too bad LG can not make compressors that last

Compressor failed after only 6 years and only the part was covered by warranty. Cost me $820 labor to install the new compressor. The LG scroll compressor has known problems and fails often. Will I even get 6 years out of the replacement compressor? LG feel free to contact me to reimburse the $820 installation charge.

My new LG Fridge

I gave 4 stars because my LG refrigerator was not working and caused an estimation of $120 - $130 of food loss due to this. But it was repaired before the scheduled LG technician could assigned to the repair job because it was necessary. Now the refrigerator is working great and I have not experienced any more problems to this date. Its a beautiful fridge and I have enjoyed using it.
