I just installed this unit in my home, unfortuatnly the CFM max output is over 400 and becasue of that I need makeup air in my home (per biulding code). Does Bosch make CFM reducer for this unit?

Vent works great. A bit noisy but I don't mind that as long as it works. Lights are nice BUT I'm having issues with the right side intermittently flashing on & off. I'll have to file a warranty claim.

I like the look and ease of use of the hood, but the fan is crazy loud. I have only ever used the fan at the lowest level (1) because it's so loud. Trying to have any sort of conversation is really difficult if the fan is on. Otherwise, it seems to do it's job fine.

We absolutely love our new hood! It looks very sleek and stylish and the 8" exhaust ensures that all of our cooking smoke and smell gets cleared really fast! We ordered the extension because we have 10' ceilings and it looks amazing! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality hood!

Unit mounting methodology made installing the unit quite easy. The only issue i had was the stainless cover was to tall for my short ceiling kitchen so i had to have it professionally cut for the final phase of install, which i knew ahead of time was likely. Looks great, works great!

We paid $1500 for this stainless steel hood and chimney. The chimney is a different/cheaper steel than the hood. It leaves fingerprint makes as soon as you touch it leaving it impossible to install without a bunch of prints. It's also been scratched as they cut the plastic to put the Bosch name on it. They shipped 2 others and all were the same. Obviously, Bosch is not mfg this in the states. Less than impressed...Feel like we've been screwed out of $1500.
