Low water pressure after replacing filter

Poor KitchenAid refrigerator filter. I replaced the filter one year ago and the water pressure was diminished significantly. The ice maker still, surprisingly, produced ice. The water dispenser was rarely used due to the low pressure. I replaced the old filter recently with another KitchenAid filter and once again the water pressure was still too low. After reading reviews showing other people had the same issue, I called the number that was listed and spoke with a man who was not helpful at all and was borderline combative. I said a few choice words and hung up realizing the conversation was not productive. I guess I will be using a generic brand filter henceforth.

I'm on my third filter, and the water pressure has dropped immensely. Water line is not kinked, and when I bypass the filter, the flow is very strong. Once the filter is in my water flow drops to a dribble. I've followed all instructions for clearing "air" out of the filter, and still nothing. I need help with this product. Thank you

The installation was easy, and it provided a clean and yummy water taste to our kitchenaid fridge dispenser. we needed to replace the filter anyways so this It filters the water really nice and it looks like it'll be pretty durable until I need my next filter.

Installing this was easy as with all the filters. It seems to last a lot longer than the other filters. The filtered water tastes so much better and the kids just love using the fridge water, as they call it!

I was well overdue for a new fridge filter and this was exactly the one I needed I was super excited to get this from Influenster. Installation was super easy, unlike the last one. My water is now tasting back to how filtered water should be tasting!

Love this! Definitely great to use as a replacement or even to use to help filter the water, and clean the harmful substance in water. I love how easy it is to place or replace a old one, and how great this water filter product works.

I am not made for anything tech so it did take me a while to get it in. The filter made the water taste a little better, but I didn™™t really taste much difference. So far, the maintenance of it has been easy but we haven™™t gotten that far yet.

My KichenAid fridge is super easy to install a new water filter. It to me about 2 minutes to take the old one out and put the new one in. Water tastes like spring water! Yum!

This was easy to install. Also, it™™s very clear when you need to change the filter once you™™ve actually changed the filter. The water comes out of the fridge much faster. It doesn™™t trickle slowly and I don™™t have to stand there forever waiting for my cup to get full.

This is a high quality refrigerator filter. The KitchenAid Water Filter 4-KAD4RXD1 is clearly better than the one I had previously installed in my refrigerator, that is clear. I could tell the difference in the taste of the water right away, which makes me wonder what exactly I may have been drinking before I got this one. Sure this filter is quite expensive in comparison to the alternatives, but at this point, I believe it is worth the extra cost to be sure you and your family are drinking good clean water.

It was pretty easy to install this filter. I needed a new one anyway and the water tastes fine, like my normal filter does. It works with any kitchenaid fridge model and it™™s suppose to last for at least a few months. I™™d buy it once I™™m done using mine.

Works great! Does not leave an after taste and it™™s very simple to install. Half a twist to the left, the old filter comes off. Half a twist to the right, goes right back on. It™™s the original filter so I can expect the quality to last through the recommended 6 months.

Let me start by saying our filter was somewhat overdue for a change-out! This new filter installed easily and we could immediately taste a difference in the water! It tastes great and gives me great peace of mind that it is removing all the contaminants, including lead. Very happy with LG brand products, a very trusted brand in my opinion. This filter should last for 6 months. Glad I was able to see and taste the difference the filter makes™¦I now mark down the date it is due to be changed.

City tap water is terrible and full of leads & containments! We just replaced our filter in our KitchenAid refrigerator at the beginning of summer so I was hyped to receive this because it's time for a new one! After all this hot summer mess outside we go through a lot of water and ice. I love the purity that the filter brings! It's so clean & crisp tasting. We haven't drank straight from our tap in YEARS. Bottled water becomes expensive and the waste of the plastic bottles bother me too, but now I can save some of those and just refill them from the fridge for the on-the-go moments.
