Defective number on door panel

Purchased new microwave and after installation found out the 1 does not work on the panel. New microwave door was ordered by technician on October 8, 2025 and as of today technician is still awaiting the new door! Also, when called the technician's office today she said they have no idea when the new door will arrive.

Replacing a Microwave of the same model sad that it went but we enjoyed so much we wanted to replace with same model. I am concern that it only lasted 7 years. I have never had to replace a microwave but repair guy indicated that 4 parts needed to be replaced so it was better to just by a replacement

Fuses kept blowing

Unit broke after 2 years of very light use - I live alone, don't host, and rarely eat at home, realistically it probably got as much run time as it would in six months in a typical home. Tried getting it fixed, but it kept blowing fuses, and the tech recommended not to get this brand of microwaves as "they seem prone to these issues" The customer service line just told me to consult the manual for solutions... Simply put, I won't be buying from this brand again.

Good microwave, bad materials

Purchased in 2021. It was one of the only 24" options we could find. Near-daily use for the last 3 years. Over time, the cheap plastic has broken where the screws hold the face of the door on, and yesterday it came apart completely. Giving 2 stars because as a microwave, it functions well and has a large capacity. It works great as an appliance, and I love the light underneath. But for the door to only hold up for 3 years, I find unacceptable.

This is an easy to use microwave. I use it over an induction cooktop. I needed the exhaust feature. It is powerful and has a "clean" front, no handle sticking out. I use the kitchen timer constantly, easier to use than the ovens. Both vent and light have high or low settings. The defrost is unusual, you have to identify between four items then put in a weight. How should I put in the weight of 1 slice of bread? I like it, it is a good product.

After many years of wanting to remodel our apartment kitchen, we finally got around to it this year. Our apartment kitchen is miniscule so every square inch mattered. Haier was one of the few brands that seemed to provide a multitude of options where I could find appliances that could work within small spaces and still look sleek. The above-the-range microwave fits beautifully in our tiny space, and looks clean and modern. I am thrilled at how well it complements the space. It also has a light underneath in case needed when cooking on the stove. At first glance, paying almost $500 for a microwave might seem excessive - but given the quality and appearance - and that it fits perfectly over the 24" stove, it was a splurge that was worth it!

Mechanical quality is terrible. Opened the box and there were a dozen screws on the bottom. Brackets were bent, screws missing, parts dangling. Took an hour to figure out where all the screws went and fix all the brackets. After a little use the insulation in the door fell and showed in window. I had to tear the door apart to fix it. A little engineering to beef up the frame, brackets and screws and this would be an excellent product.

bought the microwave back in 2018 for a remodeled house all new wiring and electrical panel ext... last time i used it when i shut the door it would trip the breaker. i got an extension cord to make sure it wasnt a bad breaker. nearly got shocked when plugged in. When the cost of a product exceeds 400 dollars you would expect them to last and be of good quality not the case here. looks nice but doesnt last

We love the Haier line of small appliances. This microwave fits perfectly above the Haier 24" range. The only thing that you (Haier) need to improve is the lighting of the clock (the range has the same issue). Since these two products typically install together, there needs to be a way to turn off the clock. It could be set up so the clock can be darkened until the microwave door is opened. Then it returns to its normal lighting.

We selected this microwave because of its width - not many choices in a smaller size out there - and are delighted with this unit! PLUS it's made for above the stove, so the exhaust fan (2 speeds) and light (2 levels) are great for the cooktop. Love the cooking features - everything is easy to set. When food is done, beeper doesn't go on very long. How many of you have a beep that goes on until you get back to the door to press 'off'? Not here, a relief! The cooking space IS small inside, but perfect for 1 person. Recommend for a smaller kitchen.

Installation was a breeze.The reheat feature works better than all the other microwaves I've owned. Looks really good and clean with the buttons on the door. My only complaint is the buttons are very sensitive to the touch. Just need to get used to not brushing my hand across the front.
