I somehow ordered grate1 which is not compatible with my new slide in GE range. I had to send it back & pay return shipping of $33.75. In the meantime, I ordered grate 2 which is the correct size that I needed. I love how it looks & I keep the griddle in the bottom storage drawer.

Soon after receiving my GE gas stove with a central stove top grill, I decided I did not like that feature. The texture was off it was not all that easy to keep clean. Then I discovered there was a replacement grate and I ordered it. It fit, naturally, and it belonged with the two grates on its sides both in size and in material. I can use a grill pan in the center now, and easily slide items along all three grates.

My stove looks great and is more usable with the grate. I agree with other reviews that this should be provided when you purchase the stove, and the griddle optional. My last GE range provided both, so I had expected that with this purchase.

Looks really nice, doesn't collect lint like the griddle does when not used n use. This should be standard and the griddle an accessory. But wither way its a nice addition and is used way more than the griddle which is also nice to have. The Griddle Fits in the bottom drawer when not in use.

I knew from the moment my stove was installed that I did not like or want the griddle. Wished it had come with the grate instead. I purchased the grate and am totally satisfied even though the first picture I thought was ugly. It fits perfectly and makes the top of my stove look complete. Great for the big gumbo (or homemade soup) pot. This stove should come with the grate and griddle included at a minimum, or at least a choice before purchase.

I ordered this grate according to answers from GE customer service and though it fit the style was wrong. The JXGRATE1 has tapered tines and my stove JGSS66SEL1SS has straight tines. See picture. I ended up digging and ordered the WB31X28255 against GE customer service answers and it was a perfect fit and style match. I wish the customer service wouldn't give me contradictory answers since, one said JXGRATE1 and another said WB31X24737, which both in pictures were identical and was wrong style.

I purchased a new gas stove and it appears they all come now with a griddle...in ten years I might have used the griddle on my old stove maybe twice. I order the middle grate and I'm very pleased with it...fits perfectly and completes my stove

The second one we got is great! It fits perfectly. The first one we got was broken and we had to send it back and then reorder it. The only disappoint thing was that we had to pay $23 to ship it back. After we received the credit we had to reorder it. So it ended up costing us more.

It isn™™t quite as heavy as the side grates,but I like it the stove I should be able to use that burner for my canner. Also the griddle I love but left on the stove it gets dirty easy

Good quality GE gas range. Two issues to consider. One, the settings touch pad on the front does not light up or have back light. The clock is illuminated but the touch pad functions icon and label are too faint. And overhead vent lights don't illuminate it at all. The touch panel is vertical and the light does not illuminate it. Would be nice if GE made it illuminated. I bought a LED light with a adjustable neck and installed it on the top of the back plate with a piece of doulbe edge tape.
Second, the bottom pull out drawer does not have a pull handle or fully recessed pull edge. There is a very shallow recession in the top of the drawer. You can rest your fingers on but the drawer is too heavy to pull out that way. The way GE made it the recession pull at the top edge of the drawer is more suited for a sliding bedroom closet door. You have to reach between the bottom of the hot stove and the top of the drawer and pull the drawer out by the back to edge of the drawer which is dangerous and hard to do as a adult male. I would not want children to use it. I went to the hardware store and bought a pull handle and attached it to the drawer.
